Tracey was elected as the Federal Member for Pearce in the 2022 Federal Election as part of the Albanese Labor Government and was re-elected in May 2025 for a second term.

Tracey is a strong advocate for both her electorate of Pearce and Western Australia, as the former Mayor of Wanneroo, President of the Western Australian Local Government Association and Vice President of the Australian Local Government Association. 

Like many in our Northern suburbs, Tracey Roberts emigrated to Australia, making Western Australia her home since the mid 1980’s. Tracey and her husband have raised their family and are involved with local schools, sports, community and service clubs.

Tracey’s life was touched significantly by cancer after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2008. It was the Wanneroo community who got her through these challenging times, and that support has driven her to give back.

As the Federal Member for Pearce, Tracey has a proven track record of securing critical infrastructure funding for the Yanchep Train Line extension and the Alkimos Aquatic Recreation Centre, amongst many others.
