The Office of Tracey Roberts MP is pleased to provide eligible veterans, international representative athletes, and organisations within the electorate of Pearce with the Australian National Flag, the Torres Strait Islander Flag, and the Aboriginal Flag. In addition, our office can provide official portraits of the King and Queen to constituents and community groups residing or based in Pearce.
Please note, our allocation of flags is limited and cannot be extended to individual requests.
Ceremonial Flag Provision Policy
Eligibility
Flags may be provided to the following entities located within the electorate of Pearce:
- Schools
- Community organisations
- International Representative Athletes
- Not-for-profit organisations
- Retirement villages, and
- Veterans
Conditions of Provision
- Residency/Location Requirement
Flags will only be issued to veterans, organisations, or groups that are based or reside within the electorate of Pearce. - Veteran Verification
Veterans requesting a flag must present a valid Veteran Card in conjunction with a government-issued photo identification (eg. Driver Licence) to confirm eligibility. - Requests
Due to the high volume of requests and the limited stock of flags available, repeat requests cannot always be accommodated immediately. For non-organisational requests, a two-year interval applies. - Appropriate Use
Flags are provided on the condition that they are displayed and maintained in a manner consistent with the dignity of the flag and in accordance with established protocols.
General Provisions
- The provision of flags is a discretionary service offered by the Office of the Federal Member for Pearce.
- The Office reserves the right to assess and determine the outcome of all requests.
- Decisions made under this policy are final.
